County Treasurer

Duties

As treasurer, my job is to serve as the custodian of all county money. This includes depositing all monies received, keeping both a hand-written ledger and utilizing computer accounting systems. All county accounts are analyzed and balanced daily, with additional weekly balancing with the County Clerk’s office. The Treasurer is responsible for numerous separate funds, including School Fund, IDA and all county funds. Elected as Treasurer by the people of Wright County, I am proud to keep your best interests in mind as the caretaker in regard to county funds.
